The Tourney List was created for a simple reason: finding the right youth basketball tournament should not be so difficult.
I built this site as a father of sons who play AAU basketball. Like many parents and coaches, I spent a lot of time trying to find tournaments that fit my sons' teams. The information was out there, but it was scattered across many different websites, event platforms, social media pages, club sites, and regional organizers. What made it even harder was that the right tournament depended on the team's location, grade level, gender, skill level, travel budget, and schedule.
The Tourney List brings that information into one searchable place.
Our goal is to help parents, coaches, team directors, and tournament organizers find and compare youth basketball tournaments more easily. Instead of visiting dozens of sites, users can search for tournaments by state, date, grade level, gender, and skill level.
Why this site exists
Youth basketball families and coaches make a lot of decisions every season. A tournament can affect travel plans, hotel costs, practice schedules, team development, and family weekends. But tournament information is often fragmented.
The Tourney List was built to solve that problem by helping users answer practical questions such as:
- What tournaments are coming up near me?
- Which events fit my team's grade level?
- Are there tournaments for boys, girls, or both?
- What events are available in nearby states?
- Which tournaments fit our team's competitive level?
- Where can I find the official registration page?
The site is designed to save time, reduce guesswork, and make tournament planning easier.
Who The Tourney List is for
The Tourney List is made for:
- Parents searching for basketball tournaments for their child's team
- AAU and travel basketball coaches planning a season schedule
- Team directors comparing events across multiple states
- Tournament organizers who want their events to be easier to find
- Families trying to understand where and when events are happening
Whether your team is looking for a local weekend event or a more competitive regional tournament, The Tourney List is built to make the search process easier.
How we collect and organize tournament information
Tournament information may come from public event pages, organizer websites, registration platforms, direct submissions, and other publicly available sources. Our goal is to organize the information in a way that is useful, searchable, and easy to compare.
Tournament listings may include details such as:
- Tournament name
- Date
- City and state
- Host or organizer
- Grade levels
- Boys, girls, or both
- Skill level
- Venue information
- Registration link
- Price, if available
- Last updated or verified date, when available
Tournament details can change, so users should always confirm dates, costs, locations, schedules, rules, and registration deadlines directly with the tournament organizer before registering or making travel plans.
Our approach to quality
The Tourney List is not just a list of links. The purpose of the site is to make tournament information easier to search, understand, and compare.
We work to make the site useful by:
- Organizing tournament information by state, date, grade level, gender, and skill level
- Linking users to official registration or organizer pages when available
- Updating listings as new information becomes available
- Removing or correcting listings when information is outdated or inaccurate
- Giving parents and coaches a simpler way to compare events
If you see a tournament that needs to be updated, corrected, or removed, please contact us.
Important note about tournament listings
The Tourney List does not run the tournaments listed on this site unless clearly stated otherwise. Tournament organizers control their own registration process, schedules, fees, rules, refund policies, brackets, venues, and event changes.
Before registering for any tournament, users should confirm all details directly with the organizer.
